I am a researcher and reflective creator with a background in psychology, psychiatry and education. I am interested in how people make sense of themselves, one another, and the systems they move through.
My doctoral research at Durham University explores cross-cultural student mental health, coping, help-seeking, and the multi-layered support ecosystems of higher education. Alongside research, my work extends across medical humanities, research culture, mentoring, mental health education, and creative practice.
My perspective has been shaped by experiences across psychiatric hospitals, schools, higher education, and other institutional settings, and by working with people at different stages of life and across diverse psychological and social contexts.
Research and creation are not separate identities here. They are different ways of following curiosity, paying attention, and making sense of experience.
